Hostal Alegria was built by Mr. Jose-Fidel Salgado on his property bordering just inside the crater lagoon of Alegria. It is a magical lagoon with an ever-changing face. A popular place to spend the day strolling the lagoon, hiking, and exploring the hot sulpher springs. The hostal is the only place that offers overnight accommodations near the lagoon, making for an extremely peaceful stay. The property is also home to Mr. Salgado's award-winning coffee that is availabe for purchase.

There are 6 rooms, each with a full-size bed, two full-size bunk beds, and private bath. $20 double occupancy with breakfast included.
Hostal Alegria can be rented out to private groups with full catering
if desired.
You also have the option to bring your own food and have full use of the kitchen when booking all rooms.
Sleeps up to 20 people.
