Dell Foundation-
In  partnership with CENID, Dell facilitates support for children affected by HIV/AIDS in El Salvador. Dell helps to provide food, medicine, recreation, education and spends approximately 100 hours a month assisting the organization.

UPS number 16  (Fortune Magazine Apr. '07) on the list of most admired companies now has a fleet of 1,550 alternative-fuel delivery trucks and 50 hybrid electric vehicles that will cut fuel consumption by 44,000 gallons a year.

Nike awareness of social responsibility has greatly reduced their liability and bolstered the corporate image by recycling waste that was once ignored.  The Reuse-A-Shoe programcollects 2 million used athletic shoes and recycles the materials to make athletic surface tiles for basketball courts, tennis courts, and playgrounds around the world.

Xerox like many other high-tech companies have developed comprehensive programs that recycle their product components.  This has had a tremendous impact by reducing dumping in landfills.

PROESA is El Salvador's Investment Promotion Agency created in 2000. The Agency's primary focus is to creat jobs through foreign direct investment in industries such as: Agro, textiles, apparel, call centers, BPO's, software development, light manufacturing, aeronautics, electronics, tourism, and logistics and distribution centers. PROESA has facilitated the investments of over 195 multinational companies, creating more than 34,473 jobs, and indirectly 70,010 jobs overall.
