Riosaventuras
Class I-  Family friendly. Current slow, small waves, it is easy to steer, the risk of falling is low, suitable for the whole family (no children under 5).

Class II- Ideal for the first time. Fast soft and a little wave. Flows faster, maneuvers occasional, moderate, irregular waves, requires no previous experience suitable for the whole family (no children under 10).

Class III-   Intermediate. River rapids with strong, irregular waves, numerous obstructions and some outstanding staggered, requires no previous experience but this physical demand classification. Suitable for adventurous families and children over 12 years.
Equipment-

Vest- type III - V high buoyancy
Helmet-   essential design fully protects your head with extra cushioning rubber.
Oars-  Brand Carlslile to propel the raft style paddle (one per crew)
Balsas-   Star Brand, Self Bailling 12, 13 and 14 feet
(is chosen as the difficulty of the river).

Our raft sails come with rope rescue, repair kit, 1 ½ liters of water per passenger, emergency pump, etc..
Reservations & Terms-

Reservations should be made at least 72 hours in advance and require a 100% deposit before date of travel.

Cancellations made after the 72 two period are non-refundable, but 50% will be credited towards a future trip.

Rivers Adventures reserves the right to cancel or modify the itinerary of any trip due to circumstances beyond our control such as climate change, natural phenomena, etc..

Rio Paz Overnight-
River Adventures was born with the aim of exploring the Lempa River, co-sponsoring the event with various institutions (UNICEF, Ministry of Environment and Non-Governmental Organizations). Our company crossed the river from the border with Honduras in Cítala to the mouth of the Lempa for 11 days.

Rafting down the river in rubber rafts requires no prior experience. Rafting is a team sport in which all the crew of the guided rafts and row together to go through the rapids.

Commands are given  to guide the rafts through the rivers. These basic commands and other technical instructions and safety measures are explained by the guides in a talk on the practice and the crew before starting the journey of a river.

In El Salvador we have two seasons: rainy is (May-October) we go into several sections, the Lempa River, the river Sumpul, Guajoyo River, Flag River and Peace River, and in the dry season (November - May), the Peace River.

In rafting, rivers are classified according to their difficulty from 1 to 6 degrees. The risk is low to high. Prices range from $55.00 to $110.00
Class IV-   Adrenaline. Rapid, strong and very uneven with rocks blocking the road. Some parts are very steep slopes and required maneuvers resolve quickly and under pressure, there are risks to turn the raft, requires prior experience in class III rivers and good physical condition. No one under 18 years of age.

Class V-   Extreme Adrenaline. Flows very fast, irregular and very long. Complex obstacles due to the amount of danger to be avoided, requires excellent knowledge of all elements of rafting, safety and rescue. Suitable only for the more experienced there is a risk of injury.

Class VI-   River quite dangerous on the edge of the criteria for seaworthiness. Surfing is not recommended.
In El Salvador there is only one section this is Class VI River being explored by Lempa River Adventures on three occasions. Commands for Security and precautions Rafting.
