Archaeology Tours-
MAYAN ROUTE (4 -5 hours)
Visit Joya de Ceren, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the only place in the Mayan World where you can see the ruins of Mayan homes. This is also called the Pompeii of America because it was covered by ash from the Volcano Loma Caldera approximately 1400 years ago. Then visit the pyramids of San Andres, and one of the most beautiful lakes in El Salvador, Lake Coatepeque, surrounded by numerous volcanoes and forested hills.

Includes Joya de Ceren, San Andres and Lake Coatepeque. Also visit Tazumal, the largest pyramid in El Salvador, and the famed coffee city of Santa Ana.
MAYAN ROUTE WITH COFFEE FLAVOR (6-7 hours)
Visit small towns in Western El Salvador where the best coffee plantations and most beautiful volcanoes are found. This area was occupied by the Mayan Culture until the year 900 AD. The first stop will be El Salvador’s largest pyramid, Tazumal. Then travel to the highlands and a visit to a working coffee farm. Visit the Monoliths, two Mayan sculptures more than 2,000 years old. Also includes a panoramic view of Lake Coatepeque. Includes entrance fees to the monoliths and Tazumal.

City Tours-
PANORAMIC CITY TOUR (3-4 hours)
This tour includes visits to nice residential zones where you can enjoy great views of the city, the Devil’s Doorway (1,200 meters above sea level), the volcanic Ilopango Lake, Chinchontepec Volcano, the Pacific Ocean, and a large valley. Includes the Cathedral, National Palace, and the national handicraft market.
CULTURAL TOUR (4-5 hours)
Includes panoramic views of the city, the Devil’s Doorway, and a view of Ilopango Lake, the Chinchintepac Volcano, and the Pacific Ocean. Also includes the Anthropology Museum and the national handicraft market.
CANOPY + SAN SALVADOR PANORAMIC (5-6 hours)
Visit 14 stations of Don Lito’s Canopy in La Libertad Port. Also enjoy great scenic views from the Pacific Ocean and San Salvador city tour.
CANOPY + LA LIBERTAD (6-7 hours)

Panoramic Tours-
FLOWERS ROUTE/RUTA DE LAS FLORES (6-7 hours)
Visit small towns and a coffee plantation in the western part of the country, driving part of the famous Flower Route. Also visit Nahuizalco, famous for its artisan products, and Juayua, a picturesque coffee town. Also includes a panoramic view of Lake Coatepeque. A self-catered picnic lunch at the foot of the lovely Don Juan waterfall is optional.
GREEN HILL NATIONAL PARK (4-5 hours)
Visit the Green Hill National Park, where you will enjoy wonderful views of the Izalco Volcano, also known as the Light House of the Pacific Ocean. See Santa Ana Volcano, the highest in El Salvador. See Lake Coatepeque, the Apaneca – Ilamatepeque Mountain Range, and the Pacific Ocean. Relax in the cool weather and pure air of the enormous cloud forest. You may see green Toucans, Torogoz (El Salvador’s national bird), deer, and other mammals.
GREEN HILL NATIONAL PARK- SAN SALVADOR PANORAMIC (5-6 hours)
Combines the pleasures and views of the Green Hill National Park tour with a beautiful panoramic view of San Salvador. Take photos of the city, and enjoy a typical dish and beverage in a Salvadorian restaurant.
GREEN HILL NATIONAL PARK - COATEPEQUE BOAT TOUR (6-8 hours)
After the Green Hill National Park tour (# 9, above), a boat will take you on a tour of Coatepeque Lake, formed 75,000 years ago by volcanic eruptions. Swimming in the fresh, warm, crystalline water beside Tehopan Island is optional. Bring your bathing suit.
SUCHITOTO COLONIAL TOUR (5 - 6 hours)
Visit the small colonial town of Suchitoto and enjoy a boat tour on Suchitlan Lake, around the Birds Island where thousands of residential and migratory birds live or pass each year. Enjoy a nice restaurant and good food, plus a visit to a local market. Boat ticket includeds.
CHALATENANGO (6-7 hours)
Chalatenango, in northern El Salvador, has the highest mountains in the country. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and fresh climate in an unforgettable tour to this region. Choose from two options for the tour:
a) A moderate ecological walk towards Pital, the highest mountain in the country, starting from Rio Chiquito,

b) Stop for lunch in Miramundo, and enjoy the beautiful views along with a delicious typical lunch. Other points of interest en route include La Palma, a town renowned for its crafts, and Cihuatan, a Pipil archaeological site.
Pacific Coast Tours-
COSTA DEL SOL TOUR (6-7 hours)
Visit Costa del Sol, one of the most beautiful beaches in El Salvador. Enjoy a relaxing day using a beach hotel. Includes hotel fee and lunch.
SUN AND BEACH COSTA DEL SOL (6-7 hours)
Take an unforgettable boat tour around the salty mangrove forest where the Lempa River meets the Pacific Ocean. See beautiful vegetation, pelicans and falcons hunting, and local fishermen.
FISHING TOUR DEEP SEA (7- 8 hours)
Experience deep sea fishing in the warm waters of El Salvador. This tour is designed for two persons and includes all fishing equipment and bait, sandwiches, fruit, ice, and soda. The boat is a 25 foot craft with canopy, outriggers, GPS, fish finder, Captain, and Mate. Fish includes Dorado, Tuna, Sail, Wahoo, and possibly Marley. IMPORTANT NOTE: This tour is subject to cancellation if weather conditions are not recommended.
LA LIBERTAD SUNSET (6-7 hours)
Admire the black volcanic sand and surf waves of La Libertad beaches. Enjoy swimming pools and a beautiful sunset in a private club, where you will find fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. Includes club entrance fees.
Eco Tours-
SANTA ANA VOLCANO (6-7 hours)
Climb the highest volcano in El Salvador, departing from San Isidro farm. Reach the top after a one hour and thirty minute walk to the crater. Enjoy one of the most beautiful views in El Salvador. No special equipment is necessary, but tour may be cancelled during increased volcanic activity.
ALEGRIA LAGOON-TECAPA VOLCANO (8-9 hours)
Visit Alegria, a beautiful emerald lagoon on top of the Tecapa Volcano, where nature and beauty are important attractions.
THE IMPOSIBLE NATIONAL PARK
Visit beautiful El Impossible National Park, one of the last refuges for wild animals and exotic trees. Enjoy dense forest, crystalline rivers crossing the mountains, pure air, and good hiking around the park. You may have the option to stay for camping.
Peace Tour-
THE PEACE ROUTE PERQUIN-MORAZAN (Minimum 2 days.)
Visit the Department of Morazan, one of the most beautiful regions in the country, once punished during the historical armed conflict by harsh battles between the Army and guerillas. Today Morazan enjoys peace and the tranquility of its mountains, clear waters, and friendly people. Take a trip through history at the Museum of the Revolution (Perquin) and a peaceful long walk through nature. Other points of interest include the Sapo River and Mozote. Includes transport, camping, and native guides.
GUAZAPA
Visit one of the most important scenes from the Salvadorian civil war, and learn about the experiences of local people through discussions with a local guide and ex-fighter (either soldier or guerilla). Start the trip with a visit to the city of Guazapa, in the Department of Cuzcatlan, just 25 minutes from San Salvador. There you will meet former fighters who will share the stories of their experiences during the war. Then travel by 4X4 vehicle to Guazapa Volcano and start a difficult but unforgettable walk through the forest. Enjoy Centennial trees, wonderful views, beautiful butterflies, history, and a water cascade of almost thirty-six feet. Visit areas that were once guerilla camps, and the famous “Tatus” caves used by the guerillas to hide from Air Force attacks. Cross land that was also part of an important pre-Columbian establishment. Enjoy the climate of peace that now exists. Includes transport, plus transfer in 4X4 vehicle, native guides, and picnic lunch.
