La Codorniz Restaurante is the perfect place to take a break while driving the Litoral highway. Located just 3 miles east of Zacatecoluca, stop by for their famous Quail dishes.
La Codorniz has an extensive menu with all the traditional fare. The quail alone is served in nine different ways. Prices ranging from $1.99 to $6.30.
The restaurant was conceived 10 years ago by five brothers who wanted to transform the family farm into a welcoming roadstop featuring their farm-raised poultry.
There are shady outdoor dining areas around the main building with a swimming pool in back. A perfect way to cool off after a long afternoon of driving. Our specialties are: quail, "pelibuey" sheep, pekin duck, beef, pork, and BBQ ribs.
