Hotel Perkin Lenca is owned and operated by U.S. native Ron Brenneman. The ambience is charming and the accomodations are reminiscent of a mountain retreat. The hotel has been so successful that in addition to the private cabins, 10 rooms have been added. During our visit, there was a constant flow of visitors that came to enjoy the mountains views while enjoying a free cup of coffee at "Mama Anita's Kitchen". There is a good gift shop with artisan handcrafts and information about the area. Mr. Brenneman will be happy to arrange one of the many hiking tours
that are available around the hotel.

Mama Anita's Kitchen offers a traditional and American menu. The herbs and vegetables are grown in the kitchen garden and the restaurant has a variety of handmade sauces, jams, and baked goods for sale. Menu items range from $1.60 to $9.00.
